You get the paperwork. You do not get another login.

If you book caterers onto a site, or you inspect them, CaterPad's job is to hand you what you asked for in a form you can read and file.

How it reaches you.

A pack, as a PDF
Insurance, gas safety, hygiene training, risk assessment and the relevant records, in the order you would expect to read them.
Or a read only link
The same information in a browser, no download. Works on a phone at a gate in the rain.
Time limited by default
Links are shared for 1, 3, 7 or 30 days and then stop working. Nothing lingers after the event.
You never log in as staff
No account to create, no password to reset. You see what the caterer shared and nothing else.
Both times, on every record
When it was signed on the device, and when it reached the server. Where those differ, you see the gap rather than one tidy time.
What is never in one
Staff fitness to work records are health data and never leave the caterer. Nor does an answer nobody has confirmed. A gap is shown as a gap.

What is in a pack, in order.

The caterer chooses the dates. The order is always the same, so the second pack you open reads like the first.

  1. 1 Registration The food business registration and the company behind the unit.
  2. 2 Insurance Public liability, with the dates it runs from and to.
  3. 3 Gas and electrical safety Certificates for the unit, with expiry dates.
  4. 4 Training Who is trading, and the training on record for each of them.
  5. 5 Allergen matrix The menu being sold against the fourteen allergens, as confirmed by a person.
  6. 6 Records for the dates you name Checks, temperatures, deliveries and incidents, each with who signed it and when.

What a pack means.

A CaterPad pack shows the records a caterer has kept and the documents they have uploaded. It is not an endorsement, an approval or a verification of those documents by us. Judgement stays with you.
